Configure SMS for WooCommerce to display in your preferred language using built-in translations.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General.
- Under Site Language, select your desired language from the dropdown.
- Save your changes.
- The plugin interface will automatically switch to the selected language if a translation is available.
Per-user language override
This is a WordPress core behavior, not specific to SMS for WooCommerce: every WordPress user can override the site-wide language for their own account under Users → Profile → Language (shown as Users → Your Profile → Language when you’re editing your own account). A user’s own Language setting takes precedence over the site-wide Settings → General → Site Language option above. If you’ve changed the site language but your own admin screens, including the plugin’s, still show the old language, check this setting on your own profile first — it’s the most common reason this happens.
