Zenventory

The integration between Zenventory and Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) PRO is fully automated. Once AST PRO is installed, no additional setup or configuration is required in your WordPress admin.

✅ How the Integration Works

When you generate a shipping label in Zenventory, the tracking information is automatically added to your WooCommerce orders:

  • AST receives the tracking number directly
  • Tracking data is saved to the Shipment Tracking Order Meta
  • The order status updates to Shipped (Completed)
  • Customers receive a shipping confirmation email with the AST tracking widget
  • Tracking details appear on the View Order page in the customer’s account

No manual actions are needed — the integration works in the background to streamline your fulfillment process.

🧩 Carrier Name Mapping (Recommended)

Zenventory may send shipping carrier names that do not exactly match AST’s recognized list. When this happens, the tracking link may not appear in the customer email.

To ensure correct display:

🔧 How to Map Carrier Names in AST:

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Carriers
  2. Click Edit next to the relevant carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx)
  3. In the Custom API Name field, enter the exact carrier name used by Zenventory
  4. Use the ➕ icon to add multiple name variations if needed
  5. Click Update to save your changes

This ensures AST properly identifies the carrier and includes a valid tracking link in emails and on the order page.

💡 Best Practices

  • Ensure AST PRO is installed and activated
  • Map any unmatched carrier names for accurate tracking display
  • Monitor order flow after enabling to verify tracking appears as expected

🔚 Final Note

⚠️ Important: AST does not generate shipping labels. Zenventory handles label generation and fulfillment. AST focuses on tracking data automation and customer communication.
