The integration between ParcelForce and Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) PRO is fully automatic — there’s no plugin to install and no configuration required.

✅ How the Integration Works

Once AST PRO is installed, tracking information from ParcelForce is automatically added to your WooCommerce orders when shipping labels are generated via your connected fulfillment system.

Here’s what happens:

  • You generate a shipping label using the ParcelForce plugin
  • AST automatically receives and saves the tracking number to the Shipment Tracking Order Meta
  • The order status is updated to Shipped (Completed)
  • Customers receive a shipping confirmation email containing the AST tracking widget
  • Tracking also appears on the customer’s View Order page

No additional action is needed to enable this integration — it works out of the box.

🧩 Carrier Name Mapping (Recommended)

In some cases, ParcelForce may send a carrier name that doesn’t exactly match AST’s list of recognized shipping carriers. If this happens, the tracking link may not appear in the customer’s email.

To ensure correct display:

🔧 Map Carrier Names in AST

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Carriers
  2. Click Edit next to ParcelForce (or the relevant carrier)
  3. In the Custom API Name field, enter the exact carrier name used by ParcelForce
  4. Use the ➕ icon to add multiple variations if needed
  5. Click Update to save

This ensures AST identifies the carrier correctly and includes a working tracking link in email notifications.

  • Confirm that AST PRO is installed and active
  • Review your carrier name mapping if tracking links are missing
  • Run a test order to confirm tracking and email behavior
