Ordoro integrates seamlessly with Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) PRO, enabling automatic syncing of tracking information into your WooCommerce orders — with no setup required.

✅ How It Works

Once your store is connected to Ordoro, tracking numbers are automatically added to orders in WooCommerce. AST PRO will detect the tracking data and display it to your customers:

  • In the WooCommerce order details
  • In the shipping confirmation email (with tracking widget)
  • On the View Order page in their account

There’s no manual configuration or action required to activate the integration — it’s fully automatic.

🧩 Carrier Name Mapping (Recommended)

Ordoro may use shipping carrier names that don’t match AST’s recognized list. If the name isn’t matched, the tracking link may not appear correctly in the email notification.

To ensure proper display:

🔧 Map Carrier Names in AST:

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Carriers
  2. Click Edit next to the carrier you want to configure
  3. Enter the carrier name used by Ordoro in the Custom API Name field
  4. Use the ➕ icon to add more aliases if needed
  5. Click Update to save your changes

This step ensures AST links to the correct tracking page and shows the tracking widget in the customer emails.

  • Review Carrier Names: Check what carrier names Ordoro is sending and make sure they match your configured AST shipping carriers.
  • Monitor Order Tracking: Periodically verify that tracking details are appearing as expected.
  • Keep Customers Informed: Use AST’s tracking widget to enhance customer experience and reduce support inquiries.

⚠️ Important: AST does not generate shipping labels. Ordoro handles label generation and order fulfillment. AST focuses on displaying and communicating tracking details to your customers.
