This guide walks you through integrating 3PLWinner with Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) PRO, enabling you to automate tracking number updates and improve the post-purchase experience in your WooCommerce store.

🔄 How the Integration Works

When you fulfill an order using 3PLWinner, tracking details are sent back to WooCommerce via a customer order note. This note typically includes:

• The tracking number
• The shipping carrier name
• A tracking link (if provided)

3PLWinner also updates the order status to Completed. However, this tracking data remains only in the order note and is not visible in customer emails or on their account page unless AST PRO is used.

✅ What AST PRO Does

AST PRO enhances the integration by:

• Automatically detecting and extracting tracking info from WooCommerce order notes
• Saving the tracking number and carrier to AST’s Shipment Tracking Order Meta
• (Optional) Updating the order status to Shipped
• Triggering the shipping confirmation email with AST’s tracking widget
• Displaying the tracking info on the My Account > View Order page

This automation removes the need to manually transfer tracking data and ensures customers are kept informed.

⚙️ How to Enable the Integration

1. Ensure AST PRO is installed and activated
2. Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Integrations
3. Enable the 3PLWinner integration
4. (Optional) Enable Auto-complete shipped orders – AST will automatically update the order status to Shipped when tracking is added

🧩 Carrier Name Mapping (Avoid Missing Tracking Links)

3PLWinner may use carrier names that do not match AST’s internal list. If the carrier name isn’t recognized, the tracking link will not appear in the shipping confirmation email.

🔧 How to Map Carrier Names

1. Go to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Carriers
2. Click Edit on the relevant carrier (e.g., DHL, USPS, FedEx)
3. In the Custom API Name field, enter the exact name used by 3PLWinner (e.g., DHL Express, China Post)
4. Use the ➕ icon to add multiple name variations if needed
5. Click Update to save

This ensures AST correctly identifies the carrier and generates a working tracking link for your customers.

• Monitor order notes to ensure consistent tracking formatting from 3PLWinner
• Keep your carrier mappings up to date to avoid broken tracking links

⚠️ Important: AST does not generate shipping labels. Label generation and fulfillment are handled by 3PLWinner. AST PRO’s role is to extract tracking info from order notes and automate tracking visibility and email notifications in WooCommerce.
