Translate with WPML
Local Pickup Pro(ALP PRO) is fully compatible with WPML, allowing you to easily translate all ALP PRO-related strings into your desired languages. With the WPML update, you can now translate strings individually or in bulk, using the enhanced translation interface.
Translating ALP PRO Using WPML
WPML’s String Translation and Translation Management tools make it simple to localize ALP PRO’s tracking information for your multilingual store. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to translate ALP PRO strings both individually and in bulk.
Bulk Translation via WPML Translation Management
To translate multiple ALP PRO strings at once:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WPML > Translation Management.
- Scroll down to the Other texts (Strings) section.
- In the Filter by field, search for ALP PRO strings using any of the following key names:
admin_texts_wclp_processing_additional_content
admin_texts_wclp_emails_additional_content
admin_texts_wclp_local_pickup_message_content
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_pickup_order_settings
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_ready_pickup_order_settings
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_processing_lp_order_settings
- Once the relevant strings are displayed, you can translate them in bulk:
- Select the checkboxes for all the strings you want to translate.
- Use the dropdown at the bottom of the list to choose Translate in bulk.
- Enter the translations for each string on the following screen and click Save.

Single String Translation via WPML String Translation
To translate a single string from ALP PRO:
- Go to WPML > String Translation.
- In the Filter by dropdown, choose Domains and select one of the following:
admin_texts_wclp_processing_additional_content
admin_texts_wclp_emails_additional_content
admin_texts_wclp_local_pickup_message_content
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_pickup_order_settings
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_ready_pickup_order_settings
- admin_texts_woocommerce_customer_processing_lp_order_settings
- You can also directly search for a specific string by entering the string or part of the string in the Search box. For example, searching for “wclp” under
admin_texts_wclp_emails_additional_content
will display the string associated with the tracking form button. - To translate the string, click the plus (+) OR Edit icon next to the language you want to translate into.
- Enter the translation in the provided field and click Save.

Sync Your Translations
Once you’ve translated the strings, ensure they are synced across your website. WPML should automatically apply the translations, but if needed, you can go to WPML > Translation Management and confirm that the translations are live on your site.
