Loco Translate is a free plugin for translating the built-in strings of Advanced Local Pickup Pro — editing one of the shipped languages or adding a new one.
Loco Translate → Plugins → Advanced Local Pickup Pro- Install and activate the free Loco Translate plugin — from the WordPress plugin repository.
- Go to Loco Translate → Plugins — and find Advanced Local Pickup Pro in the list. To edit an existing language (for example German), click Edit next to it; to add one, click New language.
- Choose the location: Custom or System — not Author. Files saved in the plugin’s own folder (Author) are deleted on every plugin update; Custom (languages/loco/plugins/) and System (languages/plugins/) survive updates.
- Translate the strings — Loco Translate lists all translatable strings; edit each one to provide your translation.
- Click Save — the plugin uses your translation file automatically. After plugin updates, use Loco’s Sync button on the language to pick up new strings.

Loco Translate covers the plugin’s built-in strings. Texts you typed into the settings — pickup messages, email subjects and contents, widget headers — are settings, not plugin strings: translate those with WPML String Translation or Weglot instead.
