How to Get your Google Maps API credentials?

ALP PRO uses a Google Maps API key for one feature: sorting pickup locations by Distance on the cart/checkout page (the plugin geocodes addresses via the Google Geocoding API). The map-based location picker itself uses OpenStreetMap and needs no key. Follow these steps to create the key:

    IMPORTANT
    Google Maps Platform requires a billing account on the project, even within the monthly free usage. Set up billing and, if you like, a budget alert — without billing enabled, geocoding requests fail and distance sorting won’t work.

    How to Use the Google Maps API Key

    WooCommerce → Local Pickup Pro → Settings → Cart & Checkout Options → Google map API-key

    Paste the key you copied into the Google map API-key field, set Pickup locations sort by to Distance, and save.
