How to change the interval time in the appointment hours selector

The time dropdowns in the appointment hours selector (the admin calendar where you configure a location’s pickup time slots) offer times in 15-minute increments by default. The alp_work_hours_slots filter changes that increment.

1. Open your child theme's functions.php file

Edit the functions.php of your child theme (or use a code-snippets plugin). Don’t edit the parent theme — the change would be lost on theme updates.

2. Insert the following code snippet

 * $minutes is the increment in minutes (default: 15).

add_filter( 'alp_work_hours_slots', 'my_alp_change_interval_time', 10, 1 );

function my_alp_change_interval_time( $minutes ) {
	return 5; // Offer times in 5-minute steps.
}
3. Adjust and save

Change the returned number to your preferred increment in minutes (an integer — for example 5, 10, or 30) and save the file. The time dropdowns in the appointment hours selector now use your increment.

This filter controls the admin-side hours selector’s dropdown steps. The frequency of the slots customers can book is a per-location setting — Time slot intervals in the Pickup Appointments section — and doesn’t need code.
