Pickup Location Setup

Click on the add pickup location button to open the location options:

Location information

  • Location Name – for internal use only (default value – Site Title from WordPress settings)
  • Special instructions – special pickup instructions to display to your customers
  • Enable Pickup Appointment – this allows the customer to pick up an appointment for the order

Pickup Address

  • Address 1
  • Address 2
  • City
  • State
  • Country – option to show/hide country (pro)
  • ZIP
  • Telephone 

Note: default location address will be the store address from WooCommerce settings.

Business hours

  • Choose Time Format – 12H/24H
  • Select work days and work hours
  • Common Public Holidays – this holidays dates will display to the customers next to the business hours in pickup instructions on the emails (i.e “Holidays : 20 May 2023, 27 May 2023”). Please Note: We are display only current month holidays dates in emails.
  • Holidays/Exception Message – this message will display to the customers next to the business hours in pickup instructions on the emails  (i.e “on holidays we are open from 9am – 2pm”)
  • Split Work Hours – Add intervals for the Local Pickup Location work hours, split the morning/afternoon time slots (e.g. Monday – 8am-12pm, 2pm-7pm).

Please Note: the order of the business days is determined by the “Week Starts on” option in WordPress settings.

Cart Adjustments

You can set price adjustment for all local pickup orders, or set a different discount or to charge a fee for each location.

Cart Adjustment Rule – choose Which cart adjustment to apply when choosing the Local Pickup shipping method:

  • Percentage discount (%) – Percentage discount that will be deducted from the cart subtotal.
  • Fixed amount discount – fixed discount that will be deducted from the cart subtotal.
  • Percentage fee (%) – Percentage fee that will be added to the cart subtotal
  • Fixed fee – fixed fee that will be added to the cart subtotal 

Amount – choose the discount/fee amount. (this option is available for the % discount or fee options only.

Note: Cart adjustments will apply only on line items that are assigned to that location.

Products

The pickup location will be available for all products by default, you can restrict your catalog availability for pickup locations. You can include or exclude individual products or product categories and control which items are eligible for pickup from that location.

  • Products – Products that will be available for this pickup locations
  • Exclude Products – Products that will be excluded from this pickup location.
  • Product Categories – Product categories that will be available for this pickup location.
  • Exclude Product Categories – Product categories that will be excluded from this pickup location.

Shipping Method

The pickup location will be available for all shipping methods by default, you can restrict your pickup location availability for shipping method.

  • Exclude Shipping Method – Shipping methods that will be excluded from this pickup location.

Payment Method

The pickup location will be available for all payment methods by default, you can restrict your pickup location availability for payment method.

  • Exclude Payment Method – Payment methods that will be excluded from this pickup location.

Notifications

Notify a list of email addresses when an order contains a pickup at a given pickup location. The email notification will include only the products that will be picked up from the location.

Also, The email notification will include a non-appointment reminder email and an appointment pickup reminder and Set the frequency pickup reminder time to send email before appointment time to the customer.

If you choose the Non-appointment pickup reminder option:

  • Pickup Order Email Notification Recipients
  • Automatically Ready for Pickup when order status is completed
  •  Enable a pickup reminder SMS notification to the customer
  • Pickup reminder SMS Content
  • Enable a pickup reminder email notification to the customer
  • Send pickup reminder after X days – this will trigger an email reminder to your customers X days after the order was set to ready for Pickup and the order status was not updated to Picked up.
  • Send second pickup reminder after X days – this will trigger an email reminder to your customers X days after first reminder and the order was not picked up.

If you choose the appointment pickup reminder option:

  • Pickup Order Email Notification Recipients
  • Enable a pickup reminder SMS notification to the customer
  • Pickup reminder SMS Content
  • Enable a pickup reminder email notification to the customer
  • Trigger the pickup reminder notification X time before the appointment time – Set the frequency pickup reminder time to send email before appointment time to the customer.
