How to Use the Local Pickup Workflow

The Local Pickup Workflow involves three custom order statuses to streamline the in-store pickup process:

  1. Processing LP
    • Description: Assigned to local pickup orders being prepared for in-store pickup.
    • Action: An email notification containing store pickup instructions is sent to the customer.
  1. Ready For Pickup
    • Description: Applied to orders that have been processed and are now ready for in-store pickup.
    • Action: An email notification containing store pickup instructions is sent to the customer.
  1. Picked Up
    • Description: Assigned when the customer successfully picks up their order.
    • Action: An email notification containing store pickup items is sent to the customer.

Upon activating these custom statuses, you can:

  • Adjust label colors.
  • Activate email notifications.
  • Customize email content.

These customized order statuses seamlessly integrate into both the order actions and bulk actions menu options.

Important Note: Deactivating the plugin allows you to reassign the custom order statuses to alternative order statuses.
