SMS for WooCommerce is localized/ translatable by default and compatible with WordPress translation plugins, we added translation to the following languages:

Translate with WPML

SMS For Woocommerce is fully compatible with WPML, allowing you to easily translate all SMS For Woocommerce-related strings into your desired languages. With the WPML update, you can now translate strings individually or in bulk, using the enhanced translation interface.

Translating SMS For Woocommerce Using WPML

WPML’s String Translation and Translation Management tools make it simple to localize SMS For Woocommerce’s strings for your multilingual store. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to translate SMS For Woocommerce strings both individually and in bulk.

Bulk Translation via WPML Translation Management

To translate multiple SMS For Woocommerce strings at once:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Navigate to WPML > Translation Management.
3. Scroll down to the Other texts (Strings) section.
4. In the Filter by field, search for CEV PRO strings using any of the following key names:
   • smswoo_wc_status_processing_sms_template
   • smswoo_wc_status_pickup_sms_template
   • smswoo_booking_admin_reminder_sms_template
5. Once the relevant strings are displayed, you can translate them in bulk:
   • Select the checkboxes for all the strings you want to translate.
   • Use the dropdown at the bottom of the list to choose Translate in bulk.
   • Enter the translations for each string on the following screen and click Save.

Single String Translation via WPML String Translation

To translate a single string from SMS For Woocommerce:

1. Go to WPML > String Translation.
2. In the Filter by dropdown, choose Domains and select one of the following:
   • smswoo_booking_admin_reminder_sms_template
   • smswoo_booking_admin_reminder_sms_template
3. To translate the string, click the plus (+) icon next to the language you want to translate into.
4. Enter the translation in the provided field and click Save.

Sync Your Translations

Once you’ve translated the strings, ensure they are synced across your website. WPML should automatically apply the translations, but if needed, you can go to WPML > Translation Management and confirm that the translations are live on your site.

Translate with Loco translate.

Loco Translate is a free plugin that provides in-browser editing of WordPress translation files and integration with automatic translation services.

After you in install the Loco Translation plugin, on your WordPress menu, navigate to Loco Translate > Plugins.

You will see a list of installed plugins and you can locate the SMS for WooCommerce (SMSWOO) and click on the plugin to edit its translations. You will see a list of all the available languages.

If your language is on the list, you can click on the language to edit the translations, or you can select to add a new translation language.
