The Switch to Customer feature lets an administrator securely log in as a specific customer to see the store exactly as that customer would — useful for troubleshooting My Account issues, checking subscription status, or reproducing a problem.
🔄 How It Works
- Use the Switch to Customer action for the customer you want to view as.
- You are redirected to the storefront, logged in as that customer.
- A notice in the admin bar shows whose account you’re viewing.
- Click Switch Back in the admin bar to return to your own administrator account.
🔒 Security Safeguards

Logging out while in customer-view mode automatically restores your administrator session and returns you to the Customer Info dashboard.
