Each customer profile includes their order history and, when the relevant plugins are active, subscription and licence details — the full commercial picture of the account in one place. Everything here requires the Manage WooCommerce capability, like the rest of the dashboard.
🧾 Orders
The orders section lists the customer’s WooCommerce orders. Each row shows:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Date | When the order was placed. |
| Status | The WooCommerce order status (processing, completed, refunded, cancelled, etc.). |
| Subscription | Whether the order is a subscription parent or renewal, when WooCommerce Subscriptions is active. |
| Items | Products and quantities on the order. |
| Total | The order total, in the order’s own currency. |
| Preview | The eye icon opens an order summary — items, totals and billing details — in a side panel without leaving the page. |
Which orders appear. The list shows every order attached to this customer’s account, in all statuses. Note that the Total Orders metric on the profile and customers list is stricter — it excludes cancelled, failed and trashed orders — so the list can show more rows than that number.
Guest orders are not shown here. Orders are matched to the WordPress account. An order placed without logging in, or under a different email, is not linked to this account and won’t appear on the profile — find it in WooCommerce → Orders by email instead.
🔁 Subscriptions
When WooCommerce Subscriptions is active, the profile shows each of the customer’s subscriptions:
| Detail | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | The subscribed product name. |
| Status | Current status (active, on-hold, cancelled, etc.). |
| Next Renewal | The next payment date, or the end date if there are no further renewals. |
| Total | Recurring amount for the subscription. |
🔑 Licence activations (API Manager)
If WooCommerce API Manager is active, each subscription also shows licence data:
- License — total activations purchased for the product.
- Active — activations currently in use.
Same data as “Connected Stores.” The Connected Stores metric at the top of the profile is the customer’s total API Manager activations; the License and Active figures here are the same activations broken down per subscription. The wording differs between the two places for the one underlying source.
These integrations are optional — the orders section works on its own, and the subscription and licence details appear only when the matching plugin is active.
🧰 Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| An order is missing from the profile | It was likely placed as a guest or under a different email, so it isn’t linked to this account. Look it up in WooCommerce → Orders. |
| The order count and the order list disagree | Expected — the count excludes cancelled, failed and trashed orders; the list shows them all. |
| No subscriptions or licence columns | WooCommerce Subscriptions / WooCommerce API Manager is not active, or the customer has none. |
