Docs Customer Info Affiliate Performance

Affiliate Performance

If a customer is also an affiliate, Customer Info surfaces their affiliate performance inside the profile — so you can see a customer’s referral value alongside their purchase history. The section appears in the customer profile only when the customer is a registered affiliate.

🧩 Requirement

Needs Affiliate for WooCommerce. This section reads from Affiliate for WooCommerce, a separate third-party paid extension. If it isn’t active, the affiliate data is simply hidden. Customer Info reads its figures — it does not calculate them.

📊 Metrics shown

Every figure below is all-time — there is no date-range filter on this section. All monetary values are shown in your store currency.

MetricDescription
Gross CommissionsThe sum of every commission except drafts — a draft is a provisional commission the affiliate plugin has recorded but not yet finalised.
Paid (All Time)Commissions already paid out to the affiliate.
Unpaid (All Time)Commissions earned but not yet paid.
Commission (All Time)Paid plus Unpaid.
Affiliate Net SalesNet sales generated through the affiliate’s referrals.
CustomersDistinct customers referred.
VisitorsDistinct visitors referred.
Conversion RateReferred customers as a percentage of referred visitors.
Gross Commissions vs Commission (All Time). They look similar but count differently. Commission (All Time) is strictly Paid + Unpaid. Gross Commissions is every non-draft commission — so if the affiliate has commissions in another state (for example rejected), Gross will be higher than Paid + Unpaid. When there are none, the two match.

🧰 Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to check
No affiliate section on the profileAffiliate for WooCommerce isn’t active, or this customer isn’t a registered affiliate.
Figures don’t match the affiliate plugin’s own reportsThis section is all-time and reads Affiliate for WooCommerce’s data directly. A report filtered to a date range in that plugin will differ; compare against its all-time totals.
Gross Commissions ≠ Paid + UnpaidExpected when some commissions are in a non-draft state that isn’t paid or unpaid — see the note above.
