Install AI Agent OS, check that your site meets the requirements, activate your license, and get your first agent ready to connect.

Requirements

WordPress 6.9 or later and PHP 8.0 or later.
An active AI Agent OS license from zorem.com. Without one, the plugin stays locked.
WooCommerce — needed for the store tools (orders, products) and the governed WooCommerce API. Without it, agents can still use the Business Brain and other plugins’ tools. Works with either order storage, including WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
HTTPS and pretty permalinks — needed to connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex by signing in. Without them, you can still connect with an agent token.
An administrator account — to activate the license, create agents, approve connections and change site-wide settings.

How to Install the Plugin

WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin

Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin and click Upload Plugin.
Click Choose File and select the ai-agent-os .zip file.
Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.

Activate Your License

AI Agent OS → License

Right after activation, AI Agent OS is locked: the License tab is the only screen, and agents, MCP connections, tools and the Business Brain stay off until a license is active.

Go to AI Agent OS → License and click Connect & Activate License.
Sign in on zorem.com with the account you bought AI Agent OS with.
You come back to the License tab with the message License activated, and all the other tabs appear.

The license and subscription are checked with zorem.com once a day in the background. A new connection works straight away; if zorem.com cannot be reached, the plugin keeps working for up to seven days. An active license also brings automatic updates.

To move the license to another site, click Deactivate License on the License tab first. This locks AI Agent OS on this site until a license is active again.

With the license active, the AI Agent OS menu opens on Settings and shows the tabs Settings, Agents, Skills, Status, Activity Log and License, plus the Business Brain screen.

Activating the plugin changes nothing for people using your site. The rules only apply to AI agents, and no agent can do anything until you give it permissions.

What You See the First Time

A new install starts with no agents. Click Add agent and pick one of the ready-made profiles, such as Support Agent, Store Admin Agent or Fulfillment Agent, to create an agent with its permissions already filled in.

Quick Start: Your First Agent

Go to AI Agent OS → Agents and click Add agent.
Give it a name that says what it does, for example Order desk assistant.
Pick a profile (a ready-made set of permissions) or start from No profile, and adjust the permissions below.
Click Create agent. A token is shown once — copy it if you plan to connect with a token.
Open the agent’s Connection section, copy its MCP address and add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex.
Approve the connection on your site when the app asks you to sign in.
