1. Ensuring Product-Level Compatibility

If your store uses three languages (e.g., English, German, and French), follow these steps to ensure product-level restrictions are compatible across all languages:

• Set Restrictions in Default Language:
  • Go to the product page in your default language (e.g., English).
  • Apply the necessary country-based restriction rules for this product.

• Apply Restrictions to Translated Products:
  • Switch to the translated product versions (e.g., German and French).
  • Apply the same restriction rules as you did for the default language.

• Save Changes:
  • Save the restriction settings for each language version of the product.

2. Ensuring Bulk Restriction Compatibility

To apply bulk restrictions across multiple products in different languages, follow these steps:

• Select “All Languages” in WPML:
  • In the WPML language dropdown located in the admin toolbar header, select the “All languages” option.
  • This ensures that the rules you set will apply across all languages in your store.

• Set Bulk Restrictions with All Language Categories:
