Customer Email Verification Pro doesn’t ship a dedicated Affiliate For WooCommerce integration — instead, the plugin’s general account-verify gate (the same one that prompts any logged-in unverified customer on any account page) applies automatically to the affiliate account area too. No affiliate-specific code or setup is involved.
How It Works
- When an affiliate user signs up for an affiliate account in your store, the account is flagged as Unverified Email.
- The verification popup displays on all account pages, allowing the user to enter a verification code to verify their email and activate their account.
- The verification code and a verification link are sent to the new user’s email address. They can verify by entering the code or clicking the Verification link in the email.
- Once verified, the user is redirected to the account dashboard and the account is flagged as Verified Email, granting full access to the affiliate area.
What to Expect
- Unverified affiliates cannot access the affiliate account area until email verification is complete.
- No additional configuration is required — the integration works automatically once both plugins are active, because it relies on the same account-verify prompt used everywhere else in the plugin.
Exempting specific affiliates or roles
If you need certain accounts — for example, affiliate managers or a trusted partner role — to skip this prompt, use the cev_account_verify_prompt_enabled filter. It receives the current enabled state and the WP_User object, and lets you return false for accounts that should never be prompted, regardless of the global setting.
No minimum tested version is documented for either plugin, so treat this as generally compatible rather than verified against a specific version pairing.
