AI Insights turns your subscription numbers into plain-language summaries on the reports. It is entirely optional, off by default, and does nothing until you switch it on and enter your own API key.
There is no Zorem-hosted AI service. Requests go directly from your store to the provider you choose, and are billed to your own account with them.

Who can use it
Everything here — enabling AI, saving a key, and clicking Generate, Regenerate or Group answers — requires the manage_woocommerce capability, in practice an Administrator or Shop manager.
What it costs
Each summary is one request carrying a small JSON object of aggregate metrics, so the cost per generation is a fraction of a cent on a typical model. Summaries are cached, so re-opening a tab costs nothing — but Generate and Regenerate each make a fresh billable request.
Stopping it

Troubleshooting

| No AI panels appear anywhere | AI Insights is off, or no API key is saved. Check WooCommerce → Settings → Subscription Analytics. |
| The settings tab is missing | Your user needs manage_woocommerce. |
| Panels are enabled but nothing generates | Your server may not be able to reach the provider. Outbound HTTP must be allowed — some managed hosts block it, as can a firewall or the WP_HTTP_BLOCK_EXTERNAL constant. Use Test connection to confirm. |
| Cancellation themes stays empty while other panels work | It has its own setting and needs at least 10 collected answers. See Cancellation Themes. |
| An error appeared but I cannot see what it was | Failed requests are recorded under WooCommerce → Status → Logs, source subscription-analytics. |
