The Upcoming Revenue tab looks forward instead of back. It lists the renewals already scheduled on your active subscriptions, and adds a forecast of how much of that money you can realistically expect to collect.
Summary metrics
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Renewal Income | The sum of all upcoming renewal orders — items, fees, tax and shipping — for currently active subscriptions. |
| Renewal Orders | The number of upcoming renewal orders for currently active subscriptions. |
| Average Renewal Amount | The average amount per upcoming renewal order. |
These figures come from each subscription’s own next-payment schedule, so they reflect what WooCommerce Subscriptions will actually attempt to charge.
The forecast card
Above the table, the Projected for the next 30 days card converts scheduled revenue into expected revenue using your own renewal history.
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Expected to collect | Scheduled revenue adjusted by your historical renewal success rate — the realistic number, shown with a low-to-high range. |
| Scheduled | The gross amount due in the window, plus how many renewals that is. |
| At risk | The portion of that scheduled revenue owed by subscriptions the Churn Risk report has flagged as high risk. |
How the forecast is calculated
The plugin measures what share of renewal attempts actually succeeded on your store, month by month, and applies that rate to the scheduled amount. The card tells you exactly what it used — for example Based on a 94.2% renewal success rate over the last 8 months.
The range around the expected figure reflects how much that success rate has varied from month to month. A store with a steady rate gets a narrow range; a volatile one gets a wide range.
Two special cases are called out on the card itself:
- No renewal history yet — the forecast assumes every scheduled renewal is collected, and tells you to treat the number as a ceiling rather than a forecast.
- Fewer than 3 months of history — the forecast still runs, with a note that the limited history makes the range wide.
The renewals table
Below the forecast, the table lists upcoming renewals grouped over the date range you select, with the same metrics as the summary cards. Sort by any column, page through the results, and export with Download.
AI forecast summary
If AI Insights is enabled, a Forecast summary panel appears under the card and writes the forecast up in plain language. It receives only the numbers already shown on the card — the horizon in days, your currency, the scheduled and expected amounts, the success rate, how many months it is based on, and the at-risk totals.
