The plugin adds an email verification step before a new customer account is created. Only customers who successfully verify their email address can complete registration and access your store. Turn it on at WooCommerce → Email Verification.
Email Verification Flow – Registration
When a customer tries to register on your store, the following flow is triggered:
The customer enters their name, email address, and password on the registration page and submits the form. The account is not yet created at this point.
A verification email containing a 4-digit numeric OTP code is automatically sent to the email address provided. At the same time, a verification popup is displayed on screen prompting the customer to enter their code.
The customer enters the OTP code from their email into the verification popup. If the email was not received, they can request a resend directly from the popup.
Once the correct code is entered, the email is verified, the customer account is created, and the customer is automatically logged in and redirected to the account dashboard (or any page you choose). The account is flagged as Verified Email.

In the free version, the OTP code is a fixed 4-digit number, and how long it stays valid is not configurable — both become adjustable settings in Pro (see the checklist below).
